Hey Dads! My name’s Matt and I am the owner of the Stoic Dad Daily brand! I originally started this as a faceless Instagram account and have slowly grown it into an account that tries to inspire fathers to be the best versions of themselves. I’ve also enjoyed learning more about Stoicism and how it really comes in handy when it comes to being a dad. Sometimes you really have to learn how to pause and control only our actions, instead of trying to control anything external around you.
I have two children. Henry is currently 6 years old and my daughter, Salinger (we call her Birdie!) is 5! I’ve been married to a beautiful woman, Heather for 12 years now and we live in Calgary Alberta Canada.
I want Stoic Dad Daily to be a resource of inspiration, but also a place to get tips and tricks to become better. Being a modern father is a different kind of tough compared to previous generations. We work hard, come home and need to be mindful sources of inspiration for our kids, and make sure to fit in quality time with them and our partners too.
